Top 4 Reasons Not To Buy a Mac |

Mac vs PC
1. Expense-You can argue against this point all you want, but the truth is, Apple’s computers are expensive. When you have the option to easily build your own computer for buy a laptop from a provider such as Dell or HP for half the price of a similarly specified Mac, is it really worth it? A Mac with a 13’ screen on Apple’s website is running at $1200, compared to the $500 it’s running on Dell’s website. This should give you an indicator as to what you’re paying for, overpriced hardware.
2. Video Gaming-If you’re a computer gamer that’s constantly buying new releases the day they’re released then a Mac is definitely not for you. Not only are many PC games not supported by Mac OSX but having to dual boot up Windows every time you play a game can be a chore. The hardware upgrades you have to make to a make to it comparable to PC gaming is ludicrous in price as well.
3. You still need Windows-While it is possible to dual-boot Windows with a Mac machine why would you really go through the extra hassle to purchase another OS. Windows isn’t cheap, it can cost over $200 depending on the version you’re getting and if your business is still using a Windows only application this may be a cost that you’re not willing to afford.
4. Aesthetics Are Not Important-No matter how hard Apple markets their computers are the cool or the pretty thing to have, that isn’t going to make them any better than a Windows machine. Your first goal when looking for a new computer should be that it run all the applications you want it to efficiently, and how it looks externally is not going to be the judge of that.
Apple’s MacBooks may be the cool thing to have, but that doesn’t means that they’re any better than just buying a PC. The only real advantages you get by buying a Mac are those presented with the OSX operating system, and that has nothing to do with the external computer.

Note:
I am not an Apple Fan Boy. I am just a reformed windows user.
Your analysis is somewhat shallow.
Price: yes, more expensive at the buy, but the quality is here. Plus, when an Office suite will reach $300, the same with Apple is $75.
In 2 years with Apple, not one crash, not one blue screen, not one crap.
I have spent countless hours fixing issues on Windows: If I had to put a price on that, it would have more than break even with a cheapo Dell.
Customer Service: Try the Apple once, and you’ll set that as a benchmark.
Gaming: buy yourself a Xbox or PS3. it’s made for.
Hardware:
Without going into a fight, you and I know that when a manufacturer like Dell “boast” a 17″ display but forget to mention the lower graphic card, or a 200GB HDD, but running @ 5200RPM Vs 7100, we all know what it means: Half Baked performances
Aesthetics:
Your call.
Have you tried the magsafe? that little plug magnetically attached to the laptop?
Do you know how many times it saved my life?
At the end, it’s still your call. Some people will love Apple, Some other will hate it.
As for me, after 20 yrs on Windows, I love my Mac.

Have you ever owned a mac recently? Most people that bash macs have never used them for any period of time, or they used them 15 years ago. Things do change. 15 years ago (pre OSX) macs sort of sucked. crashed often. Not so today. I will admit they do cost more (you are right there)…. sure you can buy a $400 dell, but my last mac lasted me 7 years. I bet your $400 dell won’t last that long trouble free. Sometimes you get what you pay for… Why do you need windows? I’ve used macs 18 years… I’ve lived fine without windows. I don’t need windows… I do admit if you are a hardcore gamer, PCs are better… otherwise, id recommend mac to most anyone.

It’s known that cash can make us autonomous. But how to act if one doesn’t have money? The only one way is to get the loan or student loan.
