PS3 Controller

PS3 or Playstation 3 is a gaming console that kids and adults all over the world are crazy about. In this article, we are going to look at how do we connect a PS3 gaming console to our personal computer and have loads of fun with it. The following are some of the steps that should be followed to get the gaming console work with your computer:

1. The first thing that you will need to get started will be a digital TV tuner.

2. Plug in the video and audio cables to their respective slots. You can identify this cable because it has three different colored ends in white, yellow, and red.

3. Get the main cable and connect it to Playstation 3 and turn on the console.

4. Now go to the desktop of your computer and go to the menu options in your Windows. You must have wintv software in your computer.

5. After clicking on wintv, go to the menu option and select suite manager. After you open the suite manager, you will get a dialog box opened with a lot of options available. Find the option ‘Sources’ and click on it to check what we want. Click on HQ preview, it will show a preview of what you are likely to do.

6. After opening PS3, you should see PS3 options on the screen and everything properly. After you see everything is working properly, click on the ‘Save’ option on wintv and your PS3 will now work on your computer.

The other important things that should be kept in mind regarding connecting PS3 to your computer is:

1. You must have a router. The router is the one which is connected both to your computer and the Playstation gaming console through the Ethernet cable.

2. If you want the game to be connected to stream media files, then you must have Windows Media Player on your computer. Search for your PS3 after going to the media sharing option which is there in the drop down menu.

3. There are wireless options available as well. These wireless systems, though very convenient, are not very stable and dependable.
